National Park Service campground is located at Lees Ferry. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, are limited to 8 people per site, and do not have hook-ups. Camping fees are $10.00 per site per night [1997].
Primitive campsites (with toilets, but no water) are located at the Lone Rock Beach, Hite, the upper Bullfrog Bay area, and Farley and Stanton canyons.
Concessioner campgrounds with and without full utility hookups are provided at Wahweap, Bullfrog, and Halls Crossing. Groceries, camping supplies, and coin-operated laundry and showers are available to the public in these locations. For more information: (800) 528-6154.
Lakeshore and boat camping are permitted throughout the recreation area, except within developed areas and in Rainbow Bridge National Monument.
